Unbeatable and peaceful location right next to the staff galley area, easy to get around. And adjacent to Lower Beeding, West Sussex and the lovely new spa.

Lovely old building with character, attentive service and good location.
Much expanded from our first experience and the new wings Although in similar style are a little dominating. They also need to work on the grounds which are a little bare particularly in front of the hotel.

We were upgraded to a junior suite as we informed the hotel staff we were celebrating our engagement. The room was amazing - couldn't have asked for a nicer one. The food in the restaurant was also superb - the best food I have ever tasted. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and overall we had a fantastic weekend.
I wish I had been contacted by the hotel eariler to book a table in their restaurant. I didn't realise how small it was and so I thought I could book a table on the night. We still had a great meal at the other restaurant but would have preferred Cameillia.

The stunning grounds and beautiful architecture made for an enchanting stay, but the long wait times for service during meals detracted from the experience.

Everything was good, met the demands, and the staff were welcoming and pleasant people at a reception desk behind which stood 3 unsmiling staff. Had secluded location on a whale jet skiing through Japan on the back of a unicorn' thing. The room was airy with stunning bathrooms, reasonably priced.

Very comfortable stay with upgrade to a very luxurious room. Generally very friendly and helpful staff. The Pass was excellent and very accommodating when our guests were horribly late.
Everything else was so nice it was a real shame that - having agreed a late check-out - we received a rather sarcastic call from reception asking us if we needed help with our bags "because check-out is 11am you know". When I explained we had agreed a late check-out there was no apology (just "I wasn't told that") and the offer of help with bags was forgotten. I think this is really just a training issue - not a big deal but a bit annoying and it left us with rather a bad taste.

Our stay was wondefull from start to finish. Nothing was to much trouble. The staff were polite and eager to help in any way. The room was lovely and clean. The view from the window was lovey and those gardens were a dream. I rbough my hubby here for his birthday treat and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you all so much for making this so special.

Brilliant, the concierge was fantastic but all the staff were outstanding...I left my rambling boots outside the room so the carpet was not stained only to find them sparkling in the morning...top notch

A stunning hotel and the perfect place for a self-indulgent, get-away- from-it-all break. It's not cheap but you do get what you pay for. I liked the fact the rooms/bathrooms were not only extremely well appointed (you can watch tv in the bath!) but were incredibly spacious. So often these days hotels seems to take the modern builders' approach of cramming too much into the allotted space. The standard of the service/staff, food and wine were all commensurate with the quality of the hotel. All in all we had a fantastic experience and can't wait to return.
Be sure to take your booking confirmation with you. At check-in I was told that the room rate was £355 when I had actually booked at £225. Fortunately I was able to produce a copy of my confirmation. The lady checking us in politely asked if she could take a copy of my reservation and, having done so, told me not to worry as she would look into it and have the correct rate applied. When we duly came to check-out the correct rate of £225 had indeed been charged. I do wonder, however, if it would have been quite so straightforward had I not had a copy of the reservation with me. The difference of £130 is obviously not insignificant and will buy you a few drinks even in this establishment!

The hotel itself is very attractive and grand. The room was ok, we stayed in a junior suite that was an executive room at best, I have styed in travel lodge rooms that are bigger. The bathroom was large and very well fitted out though. The restuarant food was nice, and staff were friendly, although we had to order drinks two or 3 times on occassion as it was forgotten as they were busy and understaffed.
This hotel and attendees of it came across as very Pretentious.
